Mollie blew us away today at the Cascade English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers Scentwork Trial.
Our first room had only one hide and after alerting on it, she immediately told me she was done with it. She called it correctly and I knee that the next room would have the remaining two hides.
I was so excited we got our Q I never even thought to check our score later. I took Mollie's pic with her two green ribbons.
Leave it to Maxwell to check the scores. Our silly girl scored a first place time.
I have to thank the judges and the volunteers for putting on a great trial. Max volunteered running score sheets. Mt Tahoma is a large high school so he really got his steps in today.
It was fun catching up with friends and making some new ones. by @maudeling

Mollie got her first Q in Interior Excellent today at the Cocker Spaniel AKC Scentwork Trial in Tacoma.
I picked up a video cam to attach to my hat so I could capture her runs to watch later.
For those that don't know Scentwork, at the Excellent level she has 3 hides in 2 rooms, with distractions. If there is only one hide in the first room, she needs to convey that to you so you can call finish and go to the next room. Each room is timed.
To celebrate our Maxwell andbI took her to Frisco Freeze. We got burgers and she got the Puppy Patty. Notice the glazed over look in her eyes
Oh yeah, and we get to do it again tomorrow! by @maudeling

Happy heavenly birthday mom, Lois Long. She would have been 97 years young and still working in her garden.

Almost a week late, but we've been busy.
We attended the Puget Sound Doberman Pinscher Scentwork trial in Rainier Wa.
Mollie picked up her Novice Title in Buried Containers and her Novice Title in Interiors.
We also entered in Novice Containers and while we didn't Q, she also didn't molest any Containers and that's a win.
Many thanks to Sue Lynch and her club for a well run event. The judges, Donna Morgan Murray, Patrice Dodd, and others. They put in so much work. The dozens of volunteers. It was a great event. by @maudeling

Mollie had surgery yesterday. A lump near her elbow. Less than 24hrs and she's tired of the downtime.
Little does she know she's facing 10 to 14 days of downtime. by @maudeling

Mollie had her besties, Mila and Tory over today after playing at the park. They had a 3 - way tug going with an old Frisbee. Maxwell, Chris, and Mollie's Minions by @maudeling
