~ sound on for chillin vibes. . . ~

Just completed my first @gunnerschool assignment at @boxfortdetroit !

The brief for this one, called "Outside Vibes", challenged me to create a fresh moodboard grabbing references out of the Motion Design / Animation world. And then create a short animation based on that.

Had a TON of fun making this one.

There are still things I would love to improve, but oh well, better done than perfect! taken in Boxfort by @maugbonilla

55 years! Soriana, mexican-proud grocery and department store retail chain, tasked us with promoting their anniversary campaign on one of Monterrey's main LED screens. We made an immersive 3D animation, taking advantage of the display's "box" shape.

For this one I did 3D Design, Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, Rendering and Compositing.

If you live in Monterrey, you might have seen a flying shoe scattered all around the city over the last couple of weeks. I worked on that! A fun #DOOH project made for the good folks at @emepeweb

New tasty project for @emepeweb 🍭

Didn't have time to record it, but the piece was used on some of their LED billboard screens around my city :)

A year ago I started @nochedemotionmonterrey , just a night to gather among industry peers to talk about what we do: motion design. This week we are having our 5th event and I couldn’t be more excited!

After having attended various awesome social events (@offf_mx , @motion.design.mx , @mographmondaysdetroit ) and doing an in-studio shadowship at @boxfortdetroit , I’ve come to a conclusion: having a community is VITAL. It strengthens you as a professional, gives you new perspectives, inspires you to keep going, makes you feel less alone... I could go on and on about it.

Doing something like this has even given me the opportunity of meeting new people I had no idea did the same as me and lived just around the corner. It’s amazing, and I hope we keep growing. 🙌

PS. Si vives en Monterrey, nos vemos este viernes 8 de mayo! Más info en: @nochedemotionmonterrey taken in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico by @maugbonilla

My good friends at @cometa.school tasked me with such a freaking fun interstellar project! ✨️

Led by @erin_xtraterra (Sony Pictures Imageworks), Cometa School teaches the next and current generation of CFX Artists (the ones that make clothes and hair move dynamically on your favorite Hollywood animated characters).

With a fresh and lovely cosmic-style rebrand in their hands by @estudio.kawaii , Cometa tasked me with making a little animated spot to share to the world their new look.

BIG THANKS to Erin and Angie for trusting me with this one. What you're doing is such a purposeful project that truly democratizes this beautiful craft called Digital Art.

Xi.Lulito: Your new favorite ice cream 🍉✨

Had the pleasure to work on the 3D Layout & Animation, and a bit of Modeling and Texturing for this one (also made the Sound Design and couldn't stop laughing while doing it haha).

New crispy project with the awesome people at @thisisbien ! I had the pleasure to work on this shot for a 25 m screen for the @redhatinc Summit 2025 event.

I worked on 3D design (texturing, layout, lighting) and 3D animation. I did design on other shots that served as a first iteration other artists continued working.

3D Modeling by @deannajreilly

This was a project where I stepped in as a freelancer during my remote apprenticeship at BIEN (part of their amazing FOTW program).
