Dairy Girl Network is hosting the 2026 Forward TogetHER National Conference October 27–29 in Lexington, Kentucky and this is the newest program on the docket! 🐮 Dairy farmer’s daughter, Maureen Ballatori of Agency 29, will join 5th generation dairy farmer, Emily Sol of Hearty Sol (@hearty.sol) for an engaging discussion over dinner. Together, Emily and Maureen will explore what it means to tend the many pieces of a full life. Isn’t that something we’re all looking to do? Their conversation will reflect on what it means to stop chasing the idea of a perfectly balanced life and instead pay attention to what each season is asking of us. You can still get tickets to join in person or virtually! Learn more about the event and the rest of the agenda on the Dairy Girl Network website. by @maureenballatori

We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to grow with us. Agency 29 is hiring a Director of Business Development: someone who builds real relationships, thinks strategically about the food, bev, and ag space, and gets energized by connecting clients to work that actually moves them forward. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Apply on Indeed. 🔗 in bio. by @maureenballatori
Did I get a real tattoo at @barconventbrooklyn? No, but I did try. What a fun show. Innovation was everywhere (including the fat washes launched by our client, @feebrothersofficial). 😉 Every time we stopped at the booth, there was a flurry of excitement and a slew of curious people. Naturally, this was one of our favorite innovations on the floor. Some other favorites that @michelahanlon and I spotted were flavor cubes, mushroom spirits, live bees (actual bees and humans in bee costumes), live tattooing, IG-worthy photo setups, super tasty non-alc brands, and even a living garnish garden. From a merch standpoint, pins and hats are what’s up. I was surprised at the lack of cannabis. I was just at the National Restaurant Association Show a few weeks ago and cannabis modifiers for bars were everywhere. Not a THC or CBD mention anywhere here but mark my words - cannabis is coming. Anybody have any other predictions about the spirits industry trendline? by @maureenballatori
@muralcitycellars co-owner Francesca Galarus is ready to change the conversation in the wine industry. Instead of talking about Gen Z drinking habits for the hundredth time, she wants the real conversations. Inventory taxes. Staff compensation. What revenue actually looks like. What is and is not working. "Why can't we be more clear and direct with one another so we can all get to a base of knowledge?" Tune in on Wednesday for Francesca’s episode of Spilled Salt, wherever you subscribe to podcasts. by @maureenballatori
