Nothing like a full blown anxiety attack 12 hours after my Mom gets home. 😭
.

I’m super fortunate to have her in my life, but I’m taking the anxiety as a sign that I can no longer manage her living with me. This makes me sad and I don’t understand it, but I’m going to go with my intuition here and follow my heart. Just kidding…I don’t actually have any options. 🥺

Maybe in 7 Years they’ll have a bed available for her in the low budget economy homes…and no I’m not kidding. I have nowhere for my mom to go because there is simply no place for her unless I leave her in the hall as overflow at Abbotsford hospital.

I’ve never packed and left my home with Vada so fast. If anybody can calm me… it’s this little free spirit and her will to be wild and Three at all times.

This was me three years ago. It popped up on my memories probably at just the right time. I’ve been really struggling with how I look, specifically when I take my clothes off - clothed I realize I look great, no worries there. Good Clothes hide a lot. Even better if they sparkle or have leopard print.

But I’m realizing my body is capable of some great things like dancing, spotting kids in dance class, being strong etc. but I’ve never felt like my body matches all the great things I can do with it. Before I had Vada I lost 80 lbs, then I gained 80 when I was pregnant. 8 months later…. I lost 100lbs. It’s excessive and I felt more confident when I was bigger. My issues are really only fixable by gaining a ton of weight again, or surgery; neither of which am I super excited about. (Ask my sister about her tummy tuck and you’ll run far from the operating room lol)

But this picture, Popping up today. What timing. It reminded me of all I’ve been through the last three years and all my poor stomach has been through.. and it’s snapped me back to reality in the best possible way.

It’s ok. I’m ok. I will work through this and remember this picture forever. And if I start to feel insecure … I will remember this is permanently sitting on my feed to review and reflect on.

Key summer moment for the memory bank. Our kids all in the same place having an end of summer bbq. The best part was planning it all within 24 hrs and getting 4/6 of us there! We missed you Tash and Kristen 💞
