EUROPEAN SILVER MEDALIST 🥈

So here we are, 11 years later. I’ve won my second medal at an international championship. It’s been a ride, but Mama, I made it! 🥺

Still, it doesn’t mean that my career as a runner has only now become a success. To me, my career was already a success the day I decided to give it one more shot. Starting with nothing and finding my way back to the love for running itself. The love I discovered when I joined my local athletics club as a 7 y/o girl.
Finding that love again is the biggest prize of them all💛

Success isn’t simply defined by medals. I believe everyone who has the courage to chase their dreams is successful.
So keep chasing whatever it is that makes you feel alive❤️‍🔥

A big thanks to @gretekoens, my teammates, friends & family, @asicsrunning and everyone else who has supported me along the way

First place at @4mijl 🥇💙

Another year running @4mijl and a reminder of how much this race has meant to my running career.

From my first participation in 2013, to breaking 20 minutes in 2015, to making it my comeback race in 2021 and here we are again in 2026 💐
But It hasn’t always been pretty. Some disappointing results, one DNF and a few editions missed. But somehow this race always founds its way back onto my calendar

Glad I could add another participation to the story 📖✨ by @maureenkoster

A record number of races this track season and a lot of lessons along the way 🏃🏻‍♀️🧠

800 • 1500 • 5000 • 3000 • 10.000 • 5000 • 10.000 • 5000 • 1500 • 5000 • 5000

A lot of racing means a lot of travelling, not enough sleep and less time to train. But every time I showed up physically and mentally ready to go again.

The key? Balance ⚖️

Focus when it matters 🧘🏻‍♀️

But switch off when you can. You don’t have to be “on” all the time

Listen to your body and give it what it needs 🥗

But also what it wants. Not everything needs to be ‘earned’

After each race, get back to work

move on and look ahead, whatever the result.

A dream season, and one I’m incredibly proud of. It wasn’t perfect, but isn’t perfection something we all strive for without ever quite reaching it? Well, maybe it shouldn’t be the goal at all ✨ by @maureenkoster

8th at the @ultimateathleticschampionship 🫡

And just when you think you’ve got the 5000m figured out, it reminds you how much it hurts and why you should be scared of it. What a lovely reminder to take into the off season 🙃

Ultimate fun, ultimate glamour, ultimate suffering, ultimate memories. This championship had it all 💜

solo surfing in Brussels last night 🏄🏻‍♀️🌊
14:39. 7th place. Not quite the race I was hoping for, but apparently I was the only one out there chasing fast times.

And honestly? Zero regrets about putting myself out there. For me, these paced races are about discovering my potential and finding out what’s really in the tank. isn’t that what running is about?

Either way, I really enjoyed racing in Brussels again. It was amazing to feel so much support along the way.
Thank you all 💗
