My feelin': Bob Dylan passed through the sieve of Soul music thanks to the genius of one of my guitar gods and his band in the diapason of his genius.

Listening...This debut album, as bandleader, by saxophonist and flutist Joe Farrell is a magnificent journey into the heart of modal jazz. Chick Corea, Buster Williams, Airto, and Elvin Jones accompany him and take us to places where musicality reigns supreme.

October 2026
My record of the month

Conjure “Bad Mouth” (American Clavé - 1981)

It will always be the highlights (3 or 4 extracts) that I selected for you and for my pleasure, buddies!... :) …Enjoy!

My feelin’: Conjure is a flexible project led by musical director Kip Hanrahan. Three albums in twenty years. This is the third. A blend of R&B, blues, jazz, Latin, rock, and Caribbean music that truly lives up to the term “eclectic.” Watch out—it’s a masterpiece!
