Hi call me Mauri, the spiritual one

Some of you may know me as Maurishea. Reese (family) or Mauri. Fr fr You may not even know me but you can call me Mauri tho. Not going to lie I have so many nicknames. Anywho, I really came on here to talk about how I realized I didn’t really introduce myself, not that yall specifically care but I want my page to look a certain way & I want to scroll thru my page & know exactly what my page is for.

So I am a woman who is on her spiritual journey. Getting to know self & the universe. I post about my experiences thus far in my journey, not for you… but if it does help you then I’ve done more than I should. It’s for me than anything to help me grow as a spiritual being. I am a woman of creative expression who loves to take pictures, talk about life, sing, dance, write poems, listen to music, draw, use my hair to express myself, use clothes to express myself & create videos.

And that’s what my personal blog is for. Me expressing myself… that’s it. That’s all

healing is a non linear path, sometimes I have this expectation of how my healing journey “suppose” to look like. I have learned to give myself grace because this is something I wasn’t taught and yes this is not always easy. Generations of trauma passed down, but it’s part of my life mission to heal so I can enjoy the best version of myself. I owe that to myself…

Don’t be hard on yourself either, the ups and downs are apart of the journey. You got this ❤️

I Want to Experience Myself Fully🌸

lately I’ve been sitting with the thought that… I’m not going to be here forever.

and it’s not in a sad way
it’s more like… a wake up.

like why am I holding back?
why not try the pink hair, the short nails, the long nails, the different styles, the soft looks, the bold looks…

why not take the pictures
why not keep them
why not share them

why not let myself be seen in all the versions of me that exist right now

I don’t want to wait until I feel “perfect” to enjoy myself
I don’t want to shrink my creativity
or dim my light just because I’m still evolving

I am allowed to play
I am allowed to create
I am allowed to show up as I am… right now

so yeah… I’m gonna take the pictures
I’m gonna try the looks
I’m gonna share my beauty, my light, my softness

because I’m here. and that’s enough.

Letter to self

Dear future me… thank you. Thank you for continuing to be you and sharing your light. it took a lot of courage to get where you are now and I wanna say, I am proud of you. Truly. The admiration is out of this realm. you’re doing things that me right now in this moment, typing this… is still learning to do. but you got there and I’m so happy for you because you are genuinely embracing who you are. And that took to places and you met people I dreamt about. you helped yourself which now you’re helping/ inspiring other people. you’re living the life that you deserve and I am so proud of you and I’m sooooo thankful, that I decided to choose to embody your characteristics. spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally to get to where you are now. I feel it in my spirit, I feel it everywhere. the passion you have and with that, I will continue to have that. I will continue to feel that NO MATTER WHAT. Cause i am following after your exact footsteps. Just know me (aka I will be a past version of you then) & your past versions are rooting for you. You are our hero!!

One Step, One Lesson

You know what man life be life’n at times. One minute I FEEL like know what I am doing then the next I don’t. I stop pressuring myself to have it all figured out though. I am giving myself grace…When you really think about it none of us knows the how’s, why’s, when’s… but I know for me every I TRY to FIGURE out those questions I alwayssss find out quickly I’m not supposed to know right then. I’ll know when I’m suppose to. God, will show you that rq.

Just keep having faith. Take one inspired action towards
what you want outta life. Stay consistent. You are allowed to be tired or burnout. Just keep going. And there will always be lows and highs enjoy them both! Theres lessons in both.
