We had an amazing night yesterday! Thanks to our friends in @lokal.sekondo, such a wonderful environment. With the special guests, @mustang_sally_carr , @mauricia021 , @camilzd , and @divo.braziliantreats !
Our proposal is to revisit Brazilian, Latin, and Anglophone repertoire, and we’ll be playing there every first Friday of the month! taken in Kitsilano by @mauriciozani

Brazilian music is vast. Come to the intimate atmosphere of Lokal Sekondo to share a little of this vastness with the Capybaras. And don’t worry, Samba will also be provided.

Lucas Costa (vocals, percussion),
Mauricio Zani (keys, guitar and vocals)
Vicente Regis (guitar, vocals, percussion)

60 years ago, one of the most revolutionary artists in Brazilian music was born: Chico Science 🦀

Leader of the band Nação Zumbi, he was one of the main minds behind the Manguebeat movement, which emerged in Recife in the 1990s.

Here's a bit of "Praiera", from our last performance at the ANZA Club, featuring the great @elciaclara_ on Xequerê. by @mauriciozani
