🪝 ECU VSA was initially established in 2019, and has
been running ever since. ECU VSA was officially recognized this year as one of the VSA clubs under MAUVSA. ECU VSA works to bring Vietnamese, Asian, and all ECU students together to enjoy and learn about Vietnamese culture. A fun fact about us is that a large part of our club members were born in Vietnam! 🌊

🍀 GMUVSA was established in 1976. We are best
known for hosting TurkeyBowl, Semi-Formal, and Culture Show! GMUVSA won many MAUVSA awards this past year (2025-2026) including the Unity award, Outstanding multimedia production, Best culture show performances, Best culture show of the year, and Best VSA of the year! ✨

📷 Georgetown University Vietnamese Student
Association was re-established on September 19th, 2007. We strive to promote awareness of the Vietnamese-American culture, works toward the collective benefit of the Georgetown and Vietnamese American Community, welcomes cultural diversity, advocates for social justice, and raises a voice in global issues affecting the domestic and international Vietnamese communities. We are so honored to be a part of MAUVSA and excited to what the future holds! 🎧

☁️ GWUVSA was established in 2002, but joined
MAUVSA in 2007. Our big events would be our Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, and Cultural Show. As one of only two VSAs still active in DC, we are smaller than most; however, our VSA aims to connect both the Vietnamese here and the many international Vietnamese at GWU. 🗞️

🌷 A New Year of Giving, A Collective Impact! 🌷

We are excited to announce UNAVSA’s Collective Freedom as the 2026–2027 Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) Beneficiary! 🧡

Collective Freedom is dedicated to supporting Southeast Asian refugees, particularly Vietnamese Americans, through culturally competent, trauma-informed services, legal education, advocacy, and community support. Their work empowers individuals and families navigating immigration challenges while ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.

Through CPP, we hope to unite our community in uplifting this mission and creating meaningful, lasting change. 💌
