Long before I knew who I’d become, she was already carrying me.

I’ve spent a lot of time thanking the people who helped me become the man I am today, and I meant every single word. Then one day I realized I’d never thanked Her.

What a night 🍷✨ Huge shoutout to @sanctuarylehi for hosting and to their incredible staff, y’all made the whole evening feel special. And to @thewillowslc for putting on such a fun event, you guys are amazing at this. So excited for your continued success, you are beautiful people.🫶🏼

Turns out my sommelier skills are still very much in development 😂 but my rock paper scissors game came through clutch and won us a goodie basket. Including homemade peach jam from Mr. Damean himself. You cannot beat that🙌🏼

And of course, grateful for my girlfriend who always enthusiastically joins my shenanigans. As it’s been so eloquently said: “If I shenan once, I’ll shenanigan.” 🍇 taken in Sanctuary Lehi by @mav.darling

There are people in my life that I will never be able to thank enough.
They didn’t make it complicated. They didn’t make me earn it. They just love me.
As a transman, I know that is not everyone’s story. I have been close to people recently whose experience looked nothing like mine, and it broke my heart wide open. Because what I have received is nothing short of a gift.
To be loved so unconditionally is something I will never take for granted.
You didn’t have to show up the way you did. But you did. Every single one of you.
And that has changed me.
I love you all more than words can express and am forever grateful for your presence in my life. Thank you for being exactly who you are and for allowing me to the same.🏳️‍⚧️ by @mav.darling
