Ok so I’ve been a bit quiet on the interwebs by my own standards so far this year. I decided it time to use the internet for something else besides marketing my business.

Example A: here’s an Easter photo of the fam. Aren’t they amazing? Yes, yes they are.

What have I been up to?

Well, I’ve been quiet because there are all these new wicked AI tools that have come along and we’ve been super busy building and rebuilding things in our company with them.

It’s an exciting time to be alive and it’s where my focus has been. First time in a couple years something in the office has me up late wanting to get in front of my computer, so I’m leaning in.

As far as other things go, I haven’t been out racing my car as much and I haven’t been taking my MTB rides as seriously. I’ve just been going easy.

I’ve been playing some basketball and have turned some attention to having a “style” instead just wearing gym clothes all the time. I just bought some loafers, watch out world.

Oh and I also love spending time in the yard pruning the mesquite trees, it’s good for the soul.

The Tour Of The White Mountains 35 was a great race. Placed 23rd in Men’s open out of about 145. 75th overall out of 450+. Very happy with this result coming off the off season with only weekend rides as training. Not bad for being 210 lbs.

38 miles at 7200 ft of elevation in 3:17 official time. We had a big wind system move the day before the race, conditions were nice except for sustained 25mph winds with 45 mph gust.

The last couple miles are a pretty flat fire road, I didn’t save anything for that since it’s usually just a cruise in. Little did I know it would be into the teeth of that wind. That got very uncomfortable.

My wife brought the kids up to one of the final sections and they were cheering for me, I dint expect this, and that gave me such a big lift.

As a dad you gotta stay tough, not just for yourself but for everyone else watching you. Let’s go 💪💪💪 taken in White Mountains by @maverickwill

Like a scene you’ve seen before but never get tired of watching.

📸: thanks to @il8apex.media for the amazing shots. I saw a man kneeling down with a camera pointed at me just off the track. I found him in the paddock and asked if I could buy them, I was blown away by shots he got. by @maverickwill
