It felt so good to be back dancing and this choreo was so up my alley 🥺 Also really liked how my body sit into this choreo... tried my best to slow down and take my time with everything while still capturing how the choreo makes me feel...

Really enjoyed myself... 🥹 this choreo and class really came at a time when I was crazy overwhelmed with work and everything and just the hecticness of life... is really times like these that I can truly put myself in the centre of what i'm doing and what I enjoy doing by @mavis.moves

Decided to try something different once again for sevvy's open class sharing🌊🏊‍♂️~ Alw so grateful for these opportunities @hall7sevvy ❤️

Honestly... quite surprised by how this turned out :') To me, it is actually one of the more complicated choreos I have created where I had to consciously try to make it more dynamic and less flat 🥲 ngl it was uncomfortable? But I guess that's how and when growth happens...

Created and re-created this choreo soso many times that idek how many revisions of it I have it filmed and recorded in my phone 😶‍🌫️ Wanted to use this song as troll but ended up taking it more seriously than I expected HAHAHAHAH

End of the dayyy just grateful for everyone who came for this classss and hope I did do myself and this song some justice 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ by @mavis.moves

First time posting my own choreo here... kinda scary nglll 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ but just putting it here for the record i guesss :>

Not my best execution and I messed up my own choreo in every take 🤡 so this was the best one I had.... HAHAHAHA but just wanted to ramble abut below hehe

This is kind of my first time doing a lyrical/contemp style open class and honestlyy it was kinda scary, felt like my first open class all over again :') as much as i really resonate and like this genre, I always hesitated to teach it or even choreo something like this cause i've never really felt confident in it, and I didn't want to teach something i'm not confident in when people come to learn 🥹 it's like (blind leading the blind) vibes... but ig I decided to push it abit with this, given it's my last year as an official sevvy senior and I just wanted to pick up from something year 1 me started on~

Wouldn't say it's a difficult choreo, but for once instead of worrying about how others would perceive it, I actually just did it based on how it made me feel and tried putting in what I've learnt along the way, like isolations, playing with diff types of music and beats... ig I could say this choreo reflected a part of my dance journey ish ishhh :') but I did enjoy doing this and enjoyed watching others do this with their own style and flavour~ Don't know when I would do something like that again but just grateful to those who camee ❤️🙂‍↕️ by @mavis.moves

WAAA I HAVEN'T POSTED HERE IN SO LONG BUT I felt good doing this choreo and how it turned out sooo HAHAHAHA Wouldn't say I could have done better cause though I made mistakes, I felt this was one of those runs that I just felt good regardless how it looked 🫡 was a tiring choreo but I was able to consciously and intentionally make certain movement choices which isn't something I can always do when I'm jus focused on perfecting it and doing well :') maybe this short break from classes wasn't too bad of a thing and I got to come back and appreciate how good it feels to dance again~

Throwback heh :3 when I fomo-ed and wanted to do an open class too and so i did 😶 probably one of the most stressful choreos i've tried creating cause I wanted to do something different, explore a lil, showcase my style, create something fun and also had to do all these while juggling work HAHAHAHAH funny how most of this was thought out while I was showering... truly shower thoughts... followed by me desperately trying to remember what I thought when I came out of the shower HAHAHA anyways all in all, was an interesting experience and I feel this choreo was one of the ones that challenged myself and i'm rather satisfied with :))

Modern Jazz Module Group Assessment

First time taking a dance module (finally can say i've fulfilled my dream of 'studying dance') HAHAHHAA being able to do this with this bunch was honestly such a good end for this mod :") really could not imagine doing this with anyone else and I'm really so proud of what we have come up with over such a short period of time 🥺 all of us have different skill levels but yet we put together something we truly enjoyed performing and were proud of and the process was just so enjoyable 🥰 was such a breather away from the usual academic-based mods 😀

Anyways just so grateful for this bunch and I love our piece so much 🤩 never imagined choreoing to this genre of songs and choosing to do broadway out of all the diff types of jazz that we're more familiar with?? Damnnn we insane HAHAHAHA BUT LEGIT SLAYED IT MANZ❤️‍🔥 posting here for the memories hehe

Love this song and choreo so muchhh 🤩 couldn't stop putting it on repeat xbsbdbdbdbdb there were so many details and beats to hit so it was quite a challenging piece :" but really liked my control and lines here, glad i tried to hold and not move at some points and just isolate certain movements and how there's also more intention on where to place my hands when doing moves that don't have choreo for them :' really something i've been working on cus I ALWAYS HAVE AWKWARD HAND PLACEMENTS CAUSE IDK WHAT TO DO W THEM HAHAHAHAH THEY'RE JUS THR AND THEY MAKE THE MOVES LOOK WEIRD IF I JUS LEAVE THEM THR by @mavis.moves

Been long since I went for Mat's class and it really relieved so much of the stress I had from past few weeks 🥹 dance really works so much magic... Really liked how I flowed and emoted through my movements here 🥺 really came such a long way in contemp... I liked how I tried to sink into and slow down my movements so I don't rush and just listen to the music :") it was really such a good class

Hehe could sink down and extend my moves abit moreee but so excited to continue growing and learning this genre 🥰 modern jazz mod do be helping me with my balance and spins HAHAHAHA SLAYY by @mavis.moves

Tried to focus on my stops and holding my moves while listening to the song and keeping on beat 😶 was abit slow and shaky for some partss but really liked how I look less awkward grooving now 🤧 (i think) HAHAHAHAHAA but nevertheless,, had so much fun and enjoyed myself as usual 🥰🤩 by @mavis.moves

Really glad to have improved on my extensions, textures and execution 🥺 this was probably one of the first few times that I felt like I can really see my growth in this genre :") I really like how I let myself sink into the music here and take my time with the moves, while also trying to be sharp and hold my moves here and theree

This choreography was something outside my comfort zone and it really challenged me and my body but I really had so much fun ❤️‍🔥🥺 Love this choreo so much and the adrenaline I got from it was just so 🤩🤩 Really had no regrets deciding to go to this class at the last minute 😶 Now I can't wait to be back for more by @mavis.moves
