What you might not know about Freddie…
Before the @oktagonmma spotlight, he was quietly dominating in no-gi BJJ (@polaris_professional champ, @ibjjf No-Gi Worlds bronze, and a European silver)

Cold, calculated pressure. Heavy top game, strong wrestling, suffocating control. He doesn’t rush. He breaks you down, move by move.

Now that same composure is showing up in the cage.
So, who should he fight next?

We won’t always be there to hold their hand.

We won’t be there for every difficult moment, every disappointment, or every time someone makes them feel small.

And that’s one of the hardest parts of being a parent.

So while they’re still little, we give them opportunities to discover their own strength.

To stand their ground without being aggressive. To be brave without being fearless. To understand that being strong and being kind can go hand in hand.

To them, it’s just judo.

To us, it’s preparation for a world they’ll one day have to face on their own. ❤️

Psychology calls it enclothed cognition; the idea that clothing can influence how we think and feel.

Not because an outfit makes us stronger. But because sometimes, feeling confident is the first step towards showing up for ourselves.

It’s never just about the clothes. 🖤
