Over the past 5 years, our team has been honoured with multiple HIA awards across design innovation and business excellence.

A great design team is only as good as their business management capability and likewise, great business management means very little without great design.

Our commitment to high performance, intuitive design, and precision delivery has enabled us to consistently produce high-quality, high-value outcomes.

Inspired by timeless American Transitional design, this renovation brings together layered textures, classic detailing, warm material selections and carefully considered finishes to create a home with depth, character and enduring appeal.

The addition of a vaulted living room with feature exposed beams, dining room, a truly show-stopping pantry and second lounge, gave the clients the extra space they needed to breathe.

HINDMARSH ISLAND //

The design of this home focused on elevating every inch of the house, inside and out. The frontage was dramatically transformed and enhanced to create a warm and welcoming presence, setting the stage before even stepping inside. Stone and axon cladding, in complimentary colours, paid respect to the surrounding environment. The rear of the dwelling presented an excellent opportunity to capture the uninterrupted waterfront views from every perspective. Majestic iconic double gables extending up to the second storey, created opportunity for the second storey balcony to extend across the back of the upper floor living space & naturally created a roof for the alfresco below.

Aldinga Project Complete: A contemporary addition to the existing Old Coach Road property in Aldinga, home to a vibrant local Thai restaurant and @underthesunwine cellar door. Designed to complement the existing heritage buildings whilst creating its own statement, the new building pairs aluminium timber-look battens, Axon cladding and steel to create a refined architectural form that feels both bold and enduring.

Internally, the material palette was curated to bring the outside in. Vertical timber panelling, dark joinery, gunmetal finishes and moody tones create depth and warmth.

Together, the architecture and interiors form a cohesive expression of contemporary design... quietly sophisticated, tactile and deeply connected to its surroundings.

This three-level, six-apartment NDIS development is located on a challenging cul-de-sac site. The constrained site conditions required careful planning and thoughtful design to optimise building siting, access, and circulation while meeting the rigorous requirements of NDIS/SDA design standards.

The project demanded close attention to accessibility, ensuring that all apartments, common areas, and circulation paths provide a high level of functionality and independence for residents. Innovative design solutions were employed to balance compliance with the NDIS/SDA guidelines, maximise natural light, and maintain privacy and amenity.

Undercroft parking was integrated seamlessly to make efficient use of the limited site area while providing safe and convenient access for residents and visitors. The design also considered the surrounding context, ensuring that the development sits comfortably within the existing streetscape and maintains a sensitive relationship with neighbouring properties.

Mavtect Designs focuses on creating safe, accessible and enduring homes that enable independence, dignity and quality of life, while also supporting the delivery of care in a considered and efficient way.

We love stepping into the homes we design.

Being on-site allows us to experience the space as it truly is... understanding the proportions, the light, the flow, and the lifestyle of the people who live there.

It’s where ideas become grounded in reality and where our clients’ vision for their reimagined home starts to take shape.

Some things just can’t be absorbed from behind a screen. by @mavtect_designs
