Dolomites Day 3

The short climb, bit of a high traverse, big dip day on paper. After the day before we weren’t expecting much. We were so wrong.

Dolomites Day 2

High alpine. Surprisingly lonely. The winds from the day before settled via a thunderstorm in the night. We are pushing the uphills. Exhausting at ~2500hm.

(Maybe) too many cokes along the way. A nice high traverse to end the day. Arriving higher than we started.

The body feels good. The mind accepts the “slower” fast packing mode. Love it. by @max.auer

The Dolomites are just asking for horizontal frames!

Some of my favourite shots from my recent Three-day fastpacking trip.

During our time out in those mountains I realised what a gift it is to be able to capture moments exactly like I feel them. When I scroll back through the body of work I have done by now I remember each moment so vividly, it’s crazy.

Added just a tiny couples more the past weekend 🙃

Something to calm down your dopamine addicted brain.

I’m always going through so many emotions on every run. From complete focused adrenaline induced downhills to calm flowy sections to just enjoying nature around me.

Not running as much as I want lately but I’m on the right track. And if your after work runs look like that you can’t complain at all!

It’s funny how even when you call a beautiful place home sometimes you struggle to get out the door. Lingering injuries made running not very fun the past year. But step by step I’m making progress. Doing enough to issue change but not too much to make things worse.

I love being out in nature alone. I can go my pace. Think my thoughts. Feel the calm.

But there are also the days in company. Flowing together. Seeing new things for the first time. Having a laugh. Being comfortable with silence. Sharing destroyed legs. It adds to the experience.

I need both.

Did not meet a single soul besides this chamois.
