Finished my season with arguably my best race of my life. 14.24 in the 110mH.

Definitely not a perfect race, but I’ve been battling injuries all season, and am grateful that I preformed when it mattered the most.

And to top it all off, our team won the OVC meet.

It’s easy to overlook your accomplishments because you missed one goal, but you need to realize how far you have come, how hard you have worked, and accept that you left everything out on the track.

As my senior year just came to an end, I’ve been able to step back and look at how far I have come. I fell short of one goal, winning state, but there are countless other goals I exceeded along the way. Through my track journey, I have done things that freshman me never would have imagined. I hold an indoor state record, tied a GMC record, ran one of the fastest 110mH times in WI history, won GMC Athlete of the Year, and somehow I still didn’t feel accomplished crossing the finish line at state.

Now as I type this, I am not satisfied with my outcome, but I am happy knowing that I did everything in my power to run the fastest time I can this year.

Im excited to see what I can do in the next 4 at EIU by @max.hurdles
