So most of you probably already know Max.
He is the one, responsible for the drinks and menu creation for the last two years and of course the clear Mexikaner.
But as all good things have an end he will leave George R in two weeks to pursue and further refine his bartending career.
So lets not be sad but celebrate his last day, the 09. Dezember, with 6 of his favourite creations that he came up with during his time at George R.

Flor de Caña Sustainable Cocktail Challenge

Pear Punch

Rum @flordecanarum
Rum x Oats
Lacto fermented pear juice
Concentrated Pear Juice (Birnendicksaft)
Verjus @koegler_verjus

leftover Pear-Oat Cookie

Served in a Yerba Mate Calabaza

This, by the Ti‘ Punch inspired cocktail is mixed without ice and served at room temperature to forgo one of the biggest wastes at a bar.
Its designed as a slow sipper to enjoy all the aromas of Flor de Caña 12 years while still offering a cocktail experience.

I wanted to make a drink with matcha for some time. This started as a creamy sweet drink but i added a couple of savory ingredient to add some depth and complexity.
The drink is still on the sweeter side but it came together very nicely and the Lime Leaf gives the last floral touch to round it out.
