Apple Time Traveler.

Hi, I’m Max 👋

The person behind this page and the collection.

In my free time, I search for pieces of Apple history from the Macintosh 128K to the first iPhone, iPod, iPad, and everything in between.

Each relic tells a story.
Each device is a time capsule.

Thank you for joining me on this journey through Apple history 🫶

5,000 followers later, I thought it was finally time to say hello. 🍏

iPad mini (2012)

In 2012, Apple introduced its first small iPad.

It was thinner and lighter than the standard iPad, but more importantly, it marked the beginning of an entirely new product line that still exists today.

A 7.9-inch display, the classic iPad design, and Lightning this was the very first iPad mini.

For me, it’s one of those products that perfectly shows how Apple could take something familiar and rethink it in a completely new way.

The beginning of something small.

iPod shuffle 2G (2006)

Steve Jobs said it best:
“It’s hard to believe the new iPod is a real music player when you first see it.”

Aluminum body, built-in clip, and the world’s smallest design at the time.
Just half an ounce and up to 240 songs.

Available in classic silver and a range of colors, including (PRODUCT)RED.
Still one of the most wearable iPods Apple ever made.

iBook G4 (2003)

When the iBook finally got the G4.

White polycarbonate body, slot-loading drive, and a much tougher design.
Apple presented it as the most affordable G4 notebook ever with a powerful G4 processor and slot-load Combo drive.

In 2003 Steve Jobs called it “the year of the notebook.”
These were the machines students actually carried.

iPod (2001) Bob Marley Edition

The original first-generation iPod with the mechanical scroll wheel.
5GB hard drive, FireWire, and the famous promise of “1,000 songs in your pocket.”

What makes this one special is the promotional outer sleeve featuring Bob Marley.

In early 2002, Apple released a small series of these artist sleeves. Known versions include Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Billie Holiday, Alanis Morissette, and Miles Davis.

The player itself is a standard 1st-generation iPod, but the packaging turns it into one of the rarer early promotional pieces from the beginning of the iPod era.

iPhone SE (2016) Rose Gold

At its introduction, Apple called it “the most powerful 4-inch phone ever.”

It combined the beloved design of the iPhone 5s with the power of the A9 chip, a 12 MP camera capable of shooting 4K video and Live Photos, Touch ID, and Apple Pay.

As Philip Schiller said:
“We started with a beloved, iconic design and reinvented it from the inside out.”
The original iPhone SE also marked the first time Rose Gold became available on a compact 4-inch iPhone.

PowerBook 100 (1991)

The lightest and thinnest of the original PowerBooks, weighing just 2.3 kg.
Designed and built by Sony for Apple, it was based on the Macintosh Portable but made significantly smaller and lighter.

Unlike its larger siblings, it had no internal floppy drive. Instead, it used an external floppy drive connected via the HDI-20 port and powered directly by the laptop.
Its centered trackball and clean, minimalist design helped define the future of Apple’s notebook lineup.

It runs System 7.5 and is one of the last Macintosh models to use the original Motorola 68000 processor.
