Red, White, and Due with Blue as our number 2. ❤️🤍💙💙💙💙💙
We are so excited for this sweet little boy to join us in December. I have learned so many times recently that humans are able to hold happiness and excitement at the same moment feeling grief and sadness. One does not take away from the other. There is so much overwhelming joy I’ve felt over the past couple months thinking about the future of our new baby..but in the next breath I remember my daughter is supposed to be 7 months old. Rose would be able start trying foods and moving around by now, but instead I’m pregnant hoping our outcome ends differently this time. I had SO much excitement seeing the blue and realizing my intuition was right, we are having a boy! …but hours later felt a devastating reminder that, it’s not a little girl and I was supposed to be a girl mom first. I trust in God’s plan and I still know He is good. I am so thankful for this blessing on our family to invite a new baby into our family. I know it’s better we are having a boy so I won’t have to compare the two experiences.
Max and I are so lucky to have such supportive friends and family to constantly show up for us when we need them most. Grieve with us and rejoice with us. We would love any prayers over our new baby and our family throughout this journey.

Special day for this beautiful woman — her 32nd birthday and 1st Mother’s Day 🤍

This first Mother’s Day looks a little different than we ever imagined, but I’m still so grateful to have you by my side 🤟🏼. You are the strongest woman I’ve ever known, and have almost single-handedly kept me sane through one of the toughest times of my life.

Max and I went to the park trying to take pictures on an iPhone and this angel @brialashaephotography saw us and offered to shoot a couple of us 🍁 if you’re in the Charleston area definitely use her for any photography needs! God is so kind putting people like this in my path. 🧡 by @max_sweet
