Got this powerful snare sound out of a true solid Canadian sugar maple by @lukadrumsofficial. 25th anniversary, amazing one-piece instrument.

I've been obsessed for a long time with the drum sound Homer Steinweiss got on "Back to Black." I've been trying to reproduce it with mainly one mic over the kick pointing at the snare, plus a mic on the kick for extra punch.

So basically, all the other mics you see in the video aren't even "on" haha.

I love Amy 🖤

No Fear 🥁🌍
Isolated the drumless section from Inflo's production and flipped it my way — afrobeat style.

What if Steve Lacy released "Oh Yeah" in the 90's 🥁📼
Swapped the drums for a sound straight out of that era.

Jammed on a post-punk loop from Splice, stripped everything away, and kept just the drums 🥁

What would YOU do with this loop? 👇
