Rounds 5, 6, 7 & 8 of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup in Mentougou and Chongli, China 🇨🇳 So cool to race somewhere new and for the athletes to challenge themselves in cracking the cheat code and putting the puzzle together to get the new tracks dialed in.

2026 Ford Trailseeker Series is done and dusted. Proper racing at the final race in Wellington saw Marc Pritzen and Sara Mare take the overall series wins and the R100 000 prize purse. While Marc and Sam Saunders took a the wins in the day. Bosman Family Vineyards once again play gracious host to the season finale. Another incredible year of racing and community. Thank you to Ford SA for their support and shared vision of the Series and to the Faces Group for continuing to raise the bar by putting on these world class events. See you in 2027 👊 by @maxcluer

Coming up this weekend the King Price Race to the Sea. The new start venue adds a fresh dimension to the race, with the Franschhoek, Aasvoël and Sonderend mountain ranges rising around riders as they gather at the line, and the challenge and reward of the Rusty Gate Pass within the opening 20 kilometres. From the summit, sweeping views across the Overberg open up before familiar gravel roads return, dropping below the wind turbines, through the ripening canola and wheat fields, and on towards the finish at the gorgeous Benguela Cove on the Whale Coast.See you there 👊 by @maxcluer

The Trans Baviaans MTB hits different. After 22 years its community stands strong and loyal. A 240kms journey on the alternate Lang’s Baviaans Route this year due to the devastating rains in May which ripped through the traditional Baviaanskloof route making impassable for this years race.
1300 riders and over 500 teams in the 2, 3 and 4 man team format. The van der Walt Family once again showed their tenacity and professionalism and along with their volunteers, incredible check point teams and long time relationships made it a race to remember.
This is a race where your medal is earned and is never certain. A journey that is never forgotten and that turns up completely different each year giving the riders a unique challenge and experience. If you ever get the chance to do it, take it, but be warned, do not underestimate the sacrifice and challenge that it will present to you and your team. Because sometimes in life being tested and put into dark places brings out the very best in you. See you next year 👊 taken in Willowmore, Eastern Cape, South Africa by @maxcluer
