General Hospital - Silent River - The Platinum Loop - Quail Hollow - Malcolm In The Middle - The Royal Tenenbaums …

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After almost 30 years, this darling-goofball of a feature film is now up on Tubi, streamable for FREE! (with commercials). So grateful to have worked with director Robert Tucker who sadly passed away in 2024. This film was significant for me because it was one of my first paid acting jobs while still back at NYU.

Incredibly talented DP Mark Putnam describes the film as such: “Part “Silence of the Lambs,” “Spinal Tap,” and “Naked Gun,” FINAL RINSE trails overly hard-boiled detective Max Block as he pursues big-hair, rocker killer Trojan through a comedic mix of historic rock n roll performances, pop culture references and serious hair.”

It happens to be Joey Ramone’s last film performance, and features rocker Sebastian Bach and the Batman OG, Frank Gorshin as the chief of police, and the inimitable playwright and actor, David Cale, as antagonist Trojan, among many other delightful performances!

Yours truly is in the first 10 minutes, and somehow also in a strange dream sequence closer to the middle.

Transport yourself back to 1997, with this odd little gem, and let me know what you think!

I raise my cup to director Robert Tucker, lots of love and gratitude. May you rest in peace 🙏🏽 ❤️ by @maxfaugno
