It’s officially been one month of in-season play with my Bonnies Hockey internship!

Although this opportunity started back in June, the season is officially in full swing, and it has been an incredible experience so far. I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the game of hockey, gain experience with game day operations, and continue perfecting my social media and graphic design skills.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, and the job’s not finished. I’m grateful for every opportunity to learn, create, and be a part of the Bonnies Hockey program and brotherhood.

This past Tuesday, my Take 5 co-hosts and I had the absolute honor of sitting down with the new head coach of the St. Bonaventure University Men’s Basketball team, Mike MacDonald.

Coach MacDonald shared valuable insight into the game of basketball, his decision to come back to St. Bonaventure, this time as a head coach, and the recruiting process around building the Bonnies basketball team. It was an incredibly valuable experience for all five of us, and one that we will remember for years to come.

A huge thank you to Coach MacDonald for taking the time out of his busy schedule to come on Take 5 and share his knowledge with us. We wish Coach Mac and the Bonnies the best of luck in his first season.

It’s been 239 days since the Greatest Quarterback in @BuffaloBills History has played an @NFL game.
He is now a Father.
He is now throwing to an elite WR1 —> @iDJMoore.
He is now entering his 9th season.
@PeytonManning went to the SB during his 9th season.

I firmly believe JA17 can do the same this @NFL season.

I am proud to announce that I have officially been hired as the Head of Social Media Intern for Bonnies Hockey for the 2026–27 season.

In this role, I will oversee the creation and publication of social media content across all Bonnies Hockey platforms, helping showcase our student-athletes, team culture, and program throughout the season.

I would like to thank the entire Bonnies Hockey staff, as well as extend a special thank you to Head Coach Mike Cosentino for this opportunity and believing in and trusting me.

I’m excited to contribute to the program and continue developing my skills in the digital content world!

I’m looking forward to an exciting season ahead.
