I dream of raising a girl who chooses kindness over popularity, empathy over judgement, and authenticity over fitting in. Who follows her dreams and stands up for those whose voices aren't heard. Not because she’s seeking approval, but because her heart simply wouldn’t let her look away.

Maybe it's a cliché but 'obviously' (apparently not really obvious given how much social media revolves around showing off material things) real wealth isn’t measured by money, titles, or possessions. It’s measured by good health, peace of mind, genuine love, and the privilege to grow up feeling safe, protected, and cared for.

1 februari vandaag. Eindelijk. Hoe lang duurde januari wel niet, voelde als 6 maanden MAAR OKE.
Het was wel de maand waarin mijn derde hartje 1 jaar is geworden 🤍 mijn liefste Louay. by @maxime_nancy

Het besef dat alles naast elkaar kan bestaan. Hoop en hopeloosheid, kracht en tegelijk machteloos. Ik spreek en ik zwijg soms, ik geloof in licht maar het voelt vaak donker. Ik leef in mijn kleine wereld, terwijl de grote wereld brandt. Rechtvaardigheid vervaagt, macht en eigenbelang wegen zwaarder dan mensenlevens. Ik kies voor gevoel, terwijl wordt gezegd gebruik je verstand. Authenticiteit blijft de kern. Ik blijf voelen, ik blijf spreken, omdat menselijkheid begint bij niet wegkijken.
