Maximo Records Presents MR115:
KAYO (CL) - Medianoche en Castro

@____.kayo.____ 🇨🇱

From the mystical heart of Chiloé, where ancient legends whisper through the fog and the modern world dances with ancestral rhythms, Maximo Records proudly unveils its 115th release: Medianoche en Castro.
This isnt just an EP; its a sonic homage, a journey back to the roots for Chilean artist KAYO (CL), whose very soul is intertwined with his beloved hometown of Castro. Imagine the clock striking twelve in Castro.

The vibrant stilt houses (palafitos) that line the waterfront gently creak under the moonlight, their reflections shimmering on the dark waters of the fiord. A cool, crisp breeze carries the scent of the sea and the distant echoes of island life. Its in this precise, enchanting moment of Medianoche en Castro that KAYO found his inspiration, channeling the unique energy of his birthplace into a truly captivating musical experience.
This EP perfectly embodies the Maximo Records ethos: a deep appreciation for the tech house foundation, enriched with a narrative that transcends the dancefloor. KAYO weaves together the signature minimalist and futuristic sounds that define Maximo, infusing them with an almost ethereal quality that mirrors Castros magical realism. You can feel the intricate textures of the islands folklore, the mysterious allure of its landscapes, and the pulsating heart of its people embedded within each beat.

Medianoche en Castro is more than just a collection of tracks; its an invitation to explore the nocturnal spirit of Chiloé, seen through the eyes and ears of one of its most promising electronic music talents. Get ready to lose yourself in the atmospheric depths and driving rhythms that only KAYO, inspired by the enchanting midnight hour of his hometown, could create.

@the.coockman

Get ready for an unprecedented sonic immersion. Maximo Records is proud to present its 114th release: Caroleo, the new EP by acclaimed Chilean artist Seba Day.

This work redefines the tech house experience, merging the genres essence with a vanguard vision that will transport you to new auditory dimensions. The EP opens with Caroleo, the main track that gives the release its name.
Here, Seba Day demonstrates his mastery by weaving an intricate net of minimalist and futuristic sounds.
The song maintains the vibrant energy of tech house but elevates the experience with more mental notes, creating a hypnotic and enveloping soundscape. Its a meticulously designed piece for the dancefloor, inviting both mind and body on a rhythmic journey.

The second cut, Devuélvanme al After (Get Me Back to the After), is a statement of intent that its title perfectly describes. Following the same musical line as Caroleo, this sonic gem intensifies the energy, raising the stakes with a more powerful groove and an atmosphere designed for the nights climactic moments. Its the perfect anthem for those magical moments on the dancefloor when the after-party becomes the epicenter of the celebration.
