O shadow dancer, why dost thou always mock me so? Brimming beyond gravity, your softly silkened silhouette slithers despondingly disproportionate against the sun’s solemnly serene slumber. You must most certainly aubade to dawn’s first breath, yet you lie lingering, left in tow. I will never be free of you. You can never be me. Even my reflection lies. by @maximumluxx

Spinning like a kestrel,
oblated by ravenous rotational force,
an ant a dew upon morning’s fresh glades. Inertial remnants of times past glitter nocturnally. Sparsely sprawled amongst the field, they fade in the distance. The ant’s momentary tranquility escalates to transdimentional being. Squish. Splat. Spludge. The gliding moon will crush you too. (For my Father) by @maximumluxx

Off tare and sounding a rudder, I perceive a brazenly fearless yet cautious crow lingering within eye’s peripheral. “Cruise control,” I say as he stares deeply through me as though I lay flashing beyond the horizon. I’m left uncomfortably disdain and in one breath he caw-stutters, “Legal limit. 55.” by @maximumluxx

Endless falling. Maximum roll. Hubris. Hubris is most key. Hubris is truth. Truth upon hubris is nothing more than a layer of concrete upon a foundation of titanium ore, al sartén. by @maximumluxx

Then you do you, she says. If, and, for… then. Hence and therefore, because due to all of which has been said: I must. There is no other conclusion which leads to doubt, except self doubt. In which, there is…none. by @maximumluxx

Florida rain, come ease my pain. This sweltering heat leaves my heart with such idemnified palpitations. Suffocating flatness leaves me in desire of you. by @maximumluxx

Along the Columbia, a bend in time, I listen to some Petty with freedom on my mind. A bald eagle soars above as salmon swim below, I have everything I need to be. by @maximumluxx
