Although this is a couple months late, I wanted to post to congratulate my friend @maxwillrin on the release of his debut EP “First Steps”, and thank him for asking me to produce it.
-
Over the past year, I have had the incredible honor and privilege of producing this batch of songs for him. And while there are a million good things I could say about this project, I will limit myself to gratitude. Maxwell is an artist. He is brilliantly talented, hardworking, and fiercely determined to materialize his vision without cutting corners. I’m very thankful that he trusted me to steer the ship on what is undoubtedly the beginnings of a very significant journey for him. While oftentimes there was no map to guide our sails, Maxwell was always steadfast on the destination, and pushed the hell out of himself and me to arrive at port.
-
Thank you to my absolute rockstar team of musicians and engineers for playing a part on these tunes. You all made my job so easy and joyful.

Adam, Adrian, and I released our debut album yesterday. I spent a lot of time thinking about how to express my pride for this record but nothing I wrote up felt right. So I think I’ll just express my gratitude.
-
Thank you to all my incredible musicians, artists, and engineers who played a part in bringing this thing to life. I felt so humbled to be the kid at the computer pulling in stems that barely had to be touched. You all rock so hard 🥲
-
Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to demos and not only give me incredible technical/ creative insight, but also share in my excitement of creating cool shit. I’m so thankful I had so many ears to trust.
-
Thank you to everyone who’s taken time to listen to our toons. It’s a scary thing to share a slice of your soul with the world. Thanks for giving us a chance :)
-
I promise this isn’t passive aggressive, but I wanted to include a special thank you to someone, who will remain unnamed, who helped fuel Adam and I to push what it meant to be artists. I think we’re artists now; or at least we made art that left no doubt in our own hearts.
-
And lastly, thank you @adampaddock for trusting me with the sonic vision of your songs. Producing this record was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my musical journey. Pepsi Mango Band foreverrrrrr
-
This is not a perfect album. But it’s honest. And I’m really proud about that. Hope you enjoy :D - Max by @maximus.lew
