Some things are bigger than the moments themselves🖤 ALTERN⚔️FEST 2026 📸 @_deoracle_ #alternxfest #latinxcreatives #nycmusicscene #latinxmusic #nycevents by @maxine.magallanez
we created the space, now let’s build the community together! i’m so excited to finally announce that we’ve been building alternxfest from the ground up — a 2 night celebration (october 11–12) of latinx alternative culture. grunge, alt rock, indie, experimental, and everything in between that doesn’t always get room to exist under one roof. we’ll also have a maker market full of artisans and vendors who deserve to be seen too. to me, this isn’t just a festival. our mission is to create space for our community to be seen, heard, and celebrated. More info to come! 🖤⚔️🖤 submissions are open if you’d like to be one of our artists, vendors, or makers — link in bio 🎧✨ #alternxfest #latinxalternative #comunidadlatina #hechoamano #vendorsofinstagram by @maxine.magallanez

One thing about ME? I don’t know how to move through life unless I lead with my heart. On January 26th, I watched E.R.O.S. lay down the final tracks for their upcoming album release, running from you and felt this huge wave of excitement as the world started coming to life. I couldn’t fully say I lead with heart… until I saw it mirrored back by @theofficialeros and 5 other beautiful humans. I got to witness a group of 6 evolve into a band. One that watches over each other, lifts each other up, loves each other, shows up for each other. I could go on... In building this album, E.R.O.S. built something bigger. A community of people on the same journey. To self. To escape what deserves to be left behind. To find their way back home. Being a part of this project has brought me closer to home, and no matter your journey, I think it’ll do the same for you. I don’t have all the answers about Talent Management. But I know who I am at my core, my willingness to listen and become a student, and the fights I’m willing to fight. Being part of this album process was one of the most beautiful projects I’ve ever been a part of. It’s our first album and it couldn’t have been this beautiful without @theofficialeros’s soul. They’re one of the most intentional, hard working, and loving humans I’ve crossed paths with in a while, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime. Eros, thank you for teaching us how to run, love, connect, communicate, and for gently reminding us to always take a moment to breathe. Please take a moment to listen to this beautiful album. This band worked so hard for this. It means the world to us. 🤍 LINK IN BIO Band: @tj_llinas (keys) | @jesseray_on_drums (drums) | @brodyymack (guitar) | @benrpiche (guitar) | @jahmeliaaaaa (bass) | @theofficialeros (vocals) #newalbumrelease #runningfromyou #nycband #newartist #supportindependent by @maxine.magallanez
What are strangers really? Last week I had the privilege of attending Jasmine and James’ wedding. Two people who I instantly fell in love with when I met them. Jasmine, because she is a strong, intelligent, silly, and an incredibly kind woman, and James because he is my twin… like seriously.. my twin. They were able to bring so many “strangers” together that all very quickly felt familiar. We “strangers” are all trying to figure life out together. We all are shooting for the moon, despite the obstacles. We all feel jaded by the world, but continue pushing. We aren’t strangers. We are kindred. We are family we hadn’t met yet. So thank you, Jasmine and James, for a beautiful week in Crete🇬🇷. Thank you for bringing us all together for your incredible wedding, and thank you for the memories and new friendships I will hold on to for dear life like we held each other when we had to all say goodbye. #efcharistokriti #yamas #greekwedding #mamamia #strangerlovers by @maxine.magallanez
This is what my brain looked like last year—fast, loud, and overwhelming. This year I’m running from the noise and choosing patience with myself and my career. I’m learning how to be more intentional with my growth—listening to every word and taking every note. Confío en el proceso. Confío en mi camino.🧭 #2026goals #movingwithintention #yearofthehorse by @maxine.magallanez
