We come to realize that there will be no more next weeks, no more exams, no more activities, no more school events, no more lunch together with our classmates, no more street food after school, and no more breaking down with them but still smiling. Instead of saying “see you tomorrow or next school year” it will be “I hope to see you one day again” it is in this realization that someday we will look back on this moment with sadness. As this chapter of our lives will only be a part of our stories, this thought feels sad because as we grow older we realize that our paths may go in different directions and there is a chance we might never see each other again.

Cherish these memories and make sure to never take your past for granted. Hold onto what made you start your next adventure. They’ll be missed and loved but they’ll be yours to keep and look back on whenever!
