Sorry 5 weeks in and mums bruising is down a lot. She is rehab ward. Today they reduce her boot to a smaller one. Her neck bothers her more than her leg, she has whiplash from falling backwards and smashing her head on bedside table. Cognitive.. better. A long way to go, physio is happy with her trying. They are now sitting her in a big recliner, much to her dismay. She ate about 8 spoons of Ghandi's rehydrated thong tonight flavoured with dogs balls. Thank god she can't see what she is eating, I made her some jelly and she had about 5 teaspoons. Thanks for all your love. She's a fighter. by @maxinesmith2196

Easier to put it on here because everyone wants to know how mum is and its so hard keeping up. Brother Peter flew in last night picked him up went straight to hospital. Staff said we can come outside of visiting hrs anytime we want. Mum kept calling me a liar and Im like why? Peter is not here, Peter is next to her holding her hand. Went back today she had a sponge bath, had poridge her first meal. A little more alertness and 2hrs with me Paul and Peter. She had physio in bed. Her fractured skull brain bleed and now 3 screws in her ankle. They had to operate with a nerve block above her knee but be awake for the operation. She is alive and amazing she got this far. I have told her so many people ask about her and how much we all love her. The brain bleed has caused confusion she still has pipes tubes and lines everywhere. Shes tough as nails and fighting hard. by @maxinesmith2196
