30 January 2026 - My Corie turned 25 ❤️❤️❤️

A belated Birthday post for the queen of my heart, my absolute bestie, my sister from another Mr, my partner in crime. Over the past few days I’ve been going through all of our special memories together with the biggest smile on my face and an overflowing heart. Although we only met not so long ago, you have had a profound impact on me and my life. I knew it would be the case from the very moment I walked into CrossFit Putney and you knocked over the sign as you introduced yourself. The bond we have developed in such a short space of time is unlike anything else and greater than anything I could have ever wished for. There are no words to describe the love and gratitude I have for you and everything that you have done and continue to do for me. Thank you for your kindness, support, and love, always. You are absolutely stunning, one hell of a baddie, and have a heart of pure gold. A huge chunk of my heart is missing and I am gutted that I was not able to celebrate with you on your special day, but know you received all of the love and spoils you deserve. See you down under my bruuuuuuuu. I love you my Aussie babe. There is no one else I’d rather be missioning through life with, even when it involves waking up with grated feet and resurfaced knees. HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY OUPA ❤️

Today we celebrate a life full and well lived. The life of a true gentleman. A man I am grateful and fortunate enough to see in my father, and call family. A man who I spoke of and will continue to speak of in high regard. A man who passed on values to my dad, which he has instilled in us. During times like this I find myself reminiscing over our time together. The moments I found myself in, that in the moment I had no idea would be the last time I’d find myself in. How I looked forward to you visiting us from Durban weekly, and us being intrigued by all the interesting stories you had to share of life growing up in world War 2 Germany. I am so grateful to have had the privilege to spend that time with you. I am so grateful to have made the effort and had the opportunity to visit you every chance I got during my trips back to SA. I hope to carry the lessons learnt from you, your life and your passing with me each and everyday. I hope to walk through life with the same gentleness, kindness and respect as you.
