Your Someone - out now! (Link in bio)

Artwork: @adamclancy_
I met Adam on my first night living at Tangalooma. I was nervous walking into the dining hall so decided I’d take the first available seat. I sat with Adam. We’ve maintained a friendship since

Recording & Production: @kelseyberrington
I met Kelsey back when I was playing at markets in 2023. This is the first song we’ve worked on together. What I love is how much of me is in it. When I said we need bass, he handed me the bass. When I said I wanted banjo, he handed me the banjo (despite me never having played one)

Lyrics: me
The opening lyric of the chorus “I hope you live forever” was taken from a story a friend shared we me and we shed tears over. I haven’t told him this (Gunnie, if you’re reading, I hope you don’t mind)

Please listen, save & share this song. Making any sort of wave in a sea of 100,000 songs released daily seems impossible but it does happen for people.
Thank you to all who support my music 🫶 by @maxjamesmusic

Where You’re Going - Out Now

I wrote this song a few years back when a dear friend of mine was in struggling. I didn’t know how to support them, and song has always found a way of expressing what I sometimes battle to.

Grateful to say they’re still with us today & doing well 🫶

I’ve written over 150 songs since this and now pick holes in my writing ability back then, but it still holds dear. Hope you enjoy it x
