after the disappointment of the last pitch falling through, we have some good news at last!•We are happy to announce we will be providing a pitch for Gomoa Sports For Change Foundation. Ernest Quarm, the founder of Gomoa Sports set it up with the aim of using sports for socio economic impact. They didn’t want kids roaming the streets wasting potential talents on drugs and crime, giving kids who have been given up on a second chance at life. • Gomoa is a vibrant area in Ghana’s Central Region. They have more than 250 kids taking part in the programmes each week, meaning they need a pitch worthy of helping such a huge amount of kids. The land is 215 x 280 making it our biggest build by a long way!• As the build goes on we will share information on the community, locals in the area and the impact this pitch will have on the people of Gomoa.• This build will begin on 5th July, Max’s birthday, giving him a present he won’t ever forget. anyone that thinks I won’t organise a football tournament so I can win doesn’t really know me very well.•so much went into organising this, including a pitch that wasn’t confirmed until last week, players coming and going and just not having enough hours to figure it all out but it was all worth it so thank you to everyone who came and spent a day of their busy schedule in Billericay. I appreciate you all. Thank you to Jaycee as well for everything you did to help it run smoothly and make sure the charity raised loads of money. •including everything, we raised over £6,000 which is amazing. The funds will go straight into our next pitch for Fafali, an NGO based in Ghana that starts at the beginning of May. We’re excited to show you the journey. PROJECT AFRICA x FAFALI 🇬🇭•Project Africa welcomes Fafali to the family. After months and months of research, talks, Zooms and much more we came to the conclusion that Fafali were perfect for us. •Fafali, headed by Raymond and Randy align with us, using sports as a means to help kids get off the street and have a future that they may not have believed was possible. •This will be our biggest challenge so far, building two pitches in Vume Kpoviadzi, in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region. •We can’t wait to show you the journey of this pitch 🧡•Love Max & L by @maxkeens

Here we goooooo! 🎥⭐️The official trailer for the documentary has dropped and we cannot wait for you all to see it.From the endless days and nights Max and L spent working out logistics for the run, to the gruelling 35 days of running to the making of this doc and the hours above spent cutting has all come down to this. You saw journey in present time but this is giving you a real insight into the most painful 35 days of Max’s life. We are proud to announce we will be having a screening in both Antwerp and London.‼️Antwerp screening: 18th of Nov, @decinema_ , 19h30Max is in the process of finalising the London screening which will either take place at the end of this year or early 2025.
