Kesem truly is Magic

During my sophomore year at Texas A&M, I was introduced to Camp Kesem. Through general body and committee meetings, I learned about all the hype that centered around being a counselor. At camp, I thought I would only be changing the lives of children affected by a parent's cancer. Instead, they also changed mine.

Over the past six months, I’ve had the opportunity to better the community by organizing events that spread Camp Kesem's mission. Through Make the Magic and Walk of the Century, we have raised over $25,000 for kids to experience camp for free.

This wasn't done alone, though. Being able to work with such an amazing team has inspired me to become a better person. Seeing these events come to life has also strengthened my belief that Kesem is magic.

However, there is always more to be done, and that's why I Kesem🐛 taken in College Station, Texas by @maxktchn
