I had been thinking for a long time about what to write for the hundredth post. Now I have found a worthy contribution. As some of you may have noticed, I sold my beloved GT86 this month. I don't really know what to write about it. It all started with this car. I drove the car to perfection with many great people. Everyone contributed their part. The vehicle cost me money, energy and tears. And yet it created so much happiness and wonderful moments. I wouldn't want to miss any of that. It is so much more than just a car.

Now people are asking why I'm selling it. Well, I built it to be driven. For the last few years, it's just been sitting in the garage. It's a sad thing to see. Now it has found a new, good home where it can be further developed. As it is, it's my interpretation of a car that drives well. Some Porsche GT4 drivers have had to learn that. A masterpiece paired with driving skill is hard to beat.

Thanks to everyone who has accompanied me along the way. Especially @philipgeipel , @markusrolen, Patrick K. und @therealtimschrick And of course @toyota_de for the fantastic base. And @_natalie_00_ , who had to make a lot of compromises during the time I was building the car. It's a shame that we didn't do any more laps together.

My passion is motorsport. And it will always stay that way. ❤️

It was nice to go out with the GVD guys again. It was very comfortable and relaxed.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the performance. The bike is running great and the training in Almeria has paid off in several areas. The bottom line is that I could certainly have done more, but unfortunately I wasn't 100% focused. For well-known reasons. How ever I have now my first #wheeli pictures. Very happy. Achievement done!

I also helped Flo with his R1 to get it into a rideable range. It's sad to see how you can nail such good components into a bike so lovelessly. What a pity. Shame on the previous owner. But you can do better now.

That was the last round of winter training in Spain in 2024/25. Overall, I'm very happy with the development. The bikes are fantastic to ride and I've also learned a lot in terms of data on the way there.

The result was (measured in terms of personal best times)

R6: 1:48.7 ( 2022 ) => 1:47.6
R1: 1:49.2 ( 2023 ) => 1:45.2

I'm particularly proud of the R6 time, because I haven't been under 1:50 for a long time. The R1 could certainly have done a lot better with more riding time and fresh tires. But riding an R1 is and remains a pleasure.

I've worked a lot on my riding style over the last two years. Apart from Almeria, I've become faster with less lean angle. I hope to gain some more knowledge this winter.

At @bikepromotioneurope I definitely have a solid environment to optimize my skills. Very nice and pleasant field of riders.
