I am excited to announce that I have committed to play Mid Major Division I baseball and continue my academic journey at Alcorn State University (ASU), in Lorman Mississippi and in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

I can’t thank my close teammates, coaches, and family enough for helping me along the way. Thank you to the entire staff at Joliet Junior College for helping make this dream a reality.

A special thank you to my brother, Leo, my dad, Andrew, my mama, and my best friend and teammate, Mark, for always pushing me past my limits and helping me become a better person as well as athlete while accomplishing this goal. I could not have done it without you.

“Six seconds of play fast, physical, relentless. Every play has a life of its own because you play to a standard.”

Thank you, Joliet, for everything. I have learned so much about who I am as a friend, a person, and a baseball player and so much more. From coming out of high school to where I am now, I have completely changed as a man for the better. I credit the entire JUCO baseball and JJC experience for that.

From the countless opportunities to learn and battle through all types of struggle and failure, to catching over 500 innings behind the plate, this journey has shaped me in ways I never expected. Most importantly, it gave me a space to be myself, create lifelong friendships and memories, and truly grow into the person I am today while gaining a deeper understanding of who I want to become. I would never have done it differently JJC 100 times out of 100. Thank you Coach Braun and the entire team and staff.
