I am still deeply grateful for the amazing opportunity to make this work. To my dear team that I miss everyday, and to the funding programs and cooperators that made it possible. Whatever the future brings, we know this beautiful work really happened. It really touched the lives of real people, no matter how many or few.

In The Open Palm, sleep becomes a collective act, where the performance facilitates sharing of space and time through rest. In the unique installation space of saasfee*pavillon, The Open Palm not only builds on the unique aesthetics of the original, but expands the concept into an atmospheric experience where performers, motion capture and music create a unique environment of relaxation over hours, culminating in the audience spending the night in the pavillon.

In the last months, my life felt great mental and emotional changes, and I felt myself needing to see what that means. Who am I going to become? Who was I before? Who am I right now? As much as I tried not to care, or pretend not to care, I care a lot about a lot of things. Not the least of which, how others might see me, what pasts are in me, and what I should do with them.

In the end, I will just let it move, and watch that river flow with a microsope, a telescope, and those stereoscopic red/blue glasses. by @maxmlevy

Trouble sleeping? Experience the first edition of Sleepdancing, a fusion of choreography and digital art made for introspective relaxation. Follow the digital dream of lunar goddesses as they echo one another in an oneiric mixture of intimacy and abstraction, guiding a delicate balance of dance and design. A sound, a spell, an incantation, Ar e Luar suspends us between concentration and serenity to shepherd the last thoughts of our day to the stars.

Last days rehearsals before Premiere of “The Weight of Tending” 1.11 it has been such a long beautiful journey 🙏🏽. What memories does a body carry within itself? In „The Weight of Tending”, the choreographer and performer Patscharaporn Distakul traces her own family history in an exploration of belonging and identity. Here she interweaves the memories of her grandfather, who lived almost for a century and with her own experiences to form an auto-fictional choreography that uses dance, the voice and music. I thought I was going to take a break for a few days, but even as I arrived in Tokyo, I felt myself itching to draw. I really wanted to keep exploring this "stenciling" technique with the Lasso Tool and Gradient, so let's go! The entire study is done with those tools only, with a few textures at the end for feel. I really enjoy using such precise tools, almost like cutting, to get sensitive results like her lips or eyelids.

In the mean time, I'm glad to already start the year with this as my first practice! I have a lot of ideas to connect my dancing, my choreography, my coding interests, music, and visuals. It's cookin 🔥🔥 by @maxmlevy

Looking back on 2025 through many moments, though I couldn't fit everything. I wonder what I learned, what was difficult, what was freeing. It changed my process a bit, it made me more honest and hoping for the best in "the work" and in the people around me. I tried my hand at many things... I choreographed, drew, danced. And amidst all of that, I hope I can take the time to be proud and patient.

I'm out, spending my New Years in Tokyo! See you next year!

Last big experiment of 2025. I have been doing a lot more visual art this year, and I don't think that will slow down in 2026. My heart is still in dance, but you can expect more of this next year. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope I can share it in more ways than Instagram posts in the coming year ❤️❤️

International self-portrait day, a day late. Before I go to bed, I often find myself saying "I love you" to myself. These words, especially when I feel alone, or when someone hasn't said them to me in a while, has made my life incredibly valueable. Sometimes it makes difficult moments bearable, but even on an average day, it makes me feel like life is always going to be okay. I highly recommend it.
-
Applying the value-practices I've been learning lately, limiting both light range and palette range to get the most out of mid-range detail, instead of relying on contrast to cover up poor value assessment.

Taken during a recent important trip to Berlin. Thank you @davidstiehl by @maxmlevy

A month after the show, hearing the music and seeing the photos still makes me feel so much. Thank you for your work, dear dancers.
