Spotted this beautiful BMW E46 330Ci Turbo build by @m54_garage_mk at the @petrolheadonism event and had to get a few shots.

Clean, purposeful and packing boost, exactly the kind of build that proves the E46 platform still has so much potential. Nothing overdone, just a timeless shape with some serious power behind it.

Still getting to know this machine, but one thing is already clear, the E63 has proper character.
It’s not trying to be light, simple or sensible. It’s a big old-school BMW coupé with a naturally aspirated V8, rear-wheel drive and enough attitude to divide opinions everywhere it goes.

Call it weird. Call it controversial. Call it unreliable.

The E63 650i has never had an easy reputation. Its design divided opinions, and the N62 V8 became famous for all the wrong reasons. But look beyond the internet horror stories and you’ll find something genuinely special.

A naturally aspirated 4.8-litre V8. Rear-wheel drive. Effortless power, proper grand-tourer comfort and a shape that becomes more interesting with time.

It isn’t perfect and that’s part of its character. It needs attention, proper maintenance and an owner who understands what it is. But when everything comes together, the 650i is still one hell of a machine.

Different. Complicated. Misunderstood. But never boring.

The E46 chapter might be coming to an end, but the passion for BMW’s E-generation isn’t going anywhere.

Time to step into something new, the E63 650i. A completely different character, a different driving experience and a naturally aspirated V8 to explore.

This isn’t about forgetting where I started or abandoning the style I’ve built. It’s about experimenting, pushing myself creatively and seeing what I can bring to another iconic BMW platform.
The same passion. The same attention to detail. The same commitment to keeping things clean and true to their origins, just expressed through a different machine.

From straight-six to V8. From E46 to E63. A new platform. A new vision. The next chapter begins.
