Dopo il suo debutto a Milano nel maggio 2025 e sette mostre internazionali tra Stati Uniti e Canada, la boccetta d’acqua più discussa del momento approda nelle Dolomiti per la sua seconda tappa italiana. A 2.000 metri di altitudine, nella splendida cornice dell’Alpe di Siusi, presso il Paradiso Pure.Living Vegan Hotel, per una residenza d’artista ospitata da Pure.Art Circle. Una settimana esplorativa alla scoperta del territorio, culminata in un panel dedicato ad arte, scienza, storia e tradizioni. La finta fragranza, esposta nella hall dell’hotel, ha ingannato gli ospiti, illudendoli che si trattasse di un nuovo ed esclusivo profumo, per tutta la durata della residenza. Sabato 1° agosto è stata rivelata la reale identità dell’opera: l’ultimo flacone d’acqua potabile rimasto sulla Terra, venduto come un prodotto di alta gamma, inaccessibile ai più. Uno scenario tanto distopico quanto familiare, in un mondo disposto a mercificare proprio tutto, anche ciò che è essenziale alla sopravvivenza. Some places leave you speechless. Horseshoe Bend was one of them. During the first international tour of EAU DE EAU, we paused our journey through the Grand Canyon to create something truly special. It was a genuine honour and privilege to work with the incredibly talented and professional Federica Ferrari, whose presence, together with the extraordinary dress by Renzo Catoni, made this breathtaking landscape feel even more surreal. Siamo davvero grati della collaborazione con WAMI, che ci ha accompagnato fin dal primissimo evento di EAU DE EAU a Milano, lo scorso anno, e nei due tour internazionali. Il primo negli Stati Uniti, con quattro esposizioni a Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C. e New York, e il secondo in Canada, con tre mostre a Toronto, Montréal e al Museum of Vancouver. Insieme a WAMI abbiamo contribuito a raccogliere oltre 4 milioni di litri di acqua potabile, sostenendo quattro famiglie del villaggio di Walpasiksa, in Nicaragua. È un traguardo piccolo se confrontato con l’enormità della crisi idrica globale, ma per noi rappresenta motivo di grande orgoglio. EAU DE EAU è un progetto multidisciplinare che pone l’attenzione su una delle sfide più urgenti del nostro tempo. È critica, provocazione, performance, introspezione ma anche un invito a trasformare la consapevolezza in azione. EAU DE EAU celebrates its first anniversary in the splendid setting of the Vancouver Museum. Following its inaugural opening in Milan on May 21, 2025, at @parco.center , EAU DE EAU embarked on two international tours, presenting seven exhibitions at the venues of the Italian Cultural Institutes in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York, Toronto, and Montreal, before concluding its extraordinary journey in Vancouver. The best part of this incredible project was not only the opportunity to visit remarkable places, but also to meet extraordinary people.
