Introducing the Barrs!
For those of you who know, these crazy cyclists are none other than my sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Wayne.
Both have had brilliant seasons in the Scottish and British cross country series, with Jane finishing 2nd in the British and 1st in the Scottish series, and Wayne finishing 9th in the British V40 and 4th in the Scottish V40 series, despite both having had some issues with lower back pain that was starting to impact them on the bike.
I have been working with them throughout their season to help ease their pain on and off the bike, and judging by their results…..they did their exercises 😜.
But it goes to show that even the fittest among us can experience aches and pains doing the things we love. Being a physiotherapist I can help you identify what might be causing your on-going symptoms and help you work out a plan to continue doing the things you love whilst working your way out of pain and back to fitness!
If you have a niggle or injury that you think physiotherapy could help with, get in touch as soon as possible and we can get you in for an assessment.

Starting the 2025 season off with podiums!

🥉SXC Rd1
🥇British XC RD 1
🥈Dirty Reiver 130km

Massive thanks to @maxphysio_stirling for looking after my body over the years. Getting older 👵🏻 seems to have the added benefit of niggles appearing more often than not, but Susan works her magic and they remain niggles and nothing more!
Super grateful to have her support and she had definitely contributed to how well 2025 has started 🤩

Can’t recommend @maxphysio_stirling enough for all your physio and massage needs!
