With the MLB playoffs in full swing, here’s @phillies shortstop Trea Turner putting in the work during last year’s offseason, using video delay for instant swing feedback. 📹⚾ This app has been a game-changer for making quick adjustments, ensuring cage-to-field success.

FIRST TEAM TOURNAMENT. 🥉⚾️

We finished 3rd.

But honestly, that’s not what I’m most proud of.

What I’m proud of is the confidence I gained on the field.

Learning the game deeper.
Knowing where the next play needs to be.
Communicating with my teammates.
Understanding my responsibilities before the ball is even hit.
Being present for my team — whether the play involves me or not.

Baseball is a mental game.

One pitch can change an inning.
One play can change a game.
One mistake can test your confidence.

This weekend, I learned to stay composed, keep competing and lead through every situation.

I played LF, SS, 3B, 2B and pitched.

Playing all over the field is teaching me something bigger than just how to play different positions — it’s teaching me how the whole game works.

What does my shortstop need from me?
Where does my second baseman need to be?
What is my pitcher thinking?
Where is the next play?
How do we adjust together?

And yeah… there were some pretty special moments too. 🔥

⚾️ Double with 2 RBI
⚾️ Walk-off single to secure the win
⚾️ Closed out a win on the mound with a strikeout
⚾️ Made plays across the infield all weekend

Those moments feel great.

But we’re not chasing one highlight.
We’re chasing CONSISTENCY.

Consistent defense.
Consistent at-bats.
Consistent pitching.
Consistent effort.
Consistent communication.
Consistent leadership.

Home runs will come.
Big innings will come.
Strikeouts will come.
Great plays will come.

But right now, we’re 9U.

This is the development phase.

I’m chasing a dream much bigger than a weekend ring. I’m running a marathon — and every practice, every game, every mistake and every rep is another step forward.

The rings might shine for a weekend.

The player I’m becoming can last a lifetime.

REPS → HABITS → CONFIDENCE → RESULTS.

Thansk a lot @maxriosbaseball for everything you are teaching me by @maxriosbaseball

Tonight’s session with Coach was all about intention. ⚾️🔥

Not just getting reps in — getting reps in with a purpose.

Every swing. Every throw. Every correction. Every mistake. There’s always something to learn when the goal is to walk out a little better than when you walked in.

You don’t need to be perfect today.
You just need the intention to improve.

Keep listening. Keep learning. Keep working.

1% better every day. Reps over rings. 👑⚾️

The little details become the big difference. ⚾️

Footwork. Rhythm. Body control. Clean transitions.
Not trying to be perfect — trying to get 1% better every rep.

At 9 years old, it’s all about building the foundation now so the game can slow down later.

Keep learning. Keep working. Keep stacking reps. 💪⚾️

REPS OVER RINGS. 🔥

Fall isn’t about trophies. It’s about transformation. 🍂⚾️

This is the season to stack reps, make mistakes, get uncomfortable, and build the skills that will matter when the games get bigger.

Every swing. Every adjustment. Every tough session with Coach Max. It all has a purpose.

Fall is where the work gets done.
Spring is where the work gets noticed. 🔥

Don’t train for the player you are today.
Train for the player you want to become.

Stack reps now. Play BIG later. 💪⚾️

Another day in the cage. Another piece of the swing getting sharper. ⚾️🔥

Today with Coach Max, the focus was simple: **FINISH THE MOVE.**

Don’t just make contact.
Don’t stop halfway.
**Drive through the baseball and finish with intent.**

Every rep is about teaching the body to trust the swing — stay aggressive, stay connected, and finish what you started.

Liam keeps learning that the smallest details can make the biggest difference. The goal isn’t to look good in the cage today… **it’s to build a swing that shows up when the game gets hard.** 💪⚾️

Keep stacking reps. Keep getting uncomfortable. Keep building.

**Finish the move. Finish strong. 🔥**

Big work with Coach Max. 🤝⚾️

🪵⚾️ **GET COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE.**

Only about **3 weeks swinging wood**, and Liam is already starting to get more comfortable with his **30” Victus wood bat** — finding the barrel, making solid contact, and learning what a wood bat demands from every swing.

Wood doesn’t give you much for free.
You have to be on time. You have to find the barrel. You have to trust your hands and your mechanics.

And that’s exactly why we’re doing it. 💪

**Work outside your comfort zone today, so when the big moments come tomorrow… you’ve already been there.**

It’s not always about making things easier. Sometimes you make training **harder on purpose** so the game eventually feels easier.

Keep stacking reps. Keep embracing the challenge. Keep building. 🧱🔥

**The edge you want tomorrow is earned in the uncomfortable reps nobody sees today.** ⚾️💯
