Skillsharing - sound technic workshop with Max Rocco

On three consecutive Saturdays this October (from 10.10., from 2pm, Sonnenallee 127 @majalcommunity) we will learn together how to build up your own PA, practically and with different scenarios, from amplifying a demonstration, setting up microphones and DJs to doing a sound check with a band or including multimedia setups (film, presentations, wireless mics).

10.10.26, 2-4pm: How to build up your own PA with microphone and DJ Setup

17.10.26, 2-5pm: How to do sound check with a band in a concert

24.10.26, 2-4.30pm: How to do sound in a multimedia setup

@maxroccostroux is an experienced audio engineer. He has been working with recording and mixing in live and studio setups.

Please register via roccosound@tuta.io or dm. Every session we will shortly recall the learnings from last time, please be on time. It’s not necessary to attend all dates, yet it’s best to get more practice. All levels are welcome, the first session will focus more on covering the basic knowledge, also if you have no clue at all. Languages spoken will be according to the needs of the participants, please specify in your mail or dm and we try our best.

You are most invited to remain for the events in majal that follow each workshop and then we collectively do the sound :) For example on 10.10. there is the Soli event „Dance for Justice“ and on 17.10. there will be the second of edition of “majilis”, majal’s collective gathering with a concert of Migrant Sounds Ensemble von Artivisten e.V. @artivisten_e.v (for which we did the soundcheck before).

This Skillsharing is free donation, funds raised will go to the maintainance of our collective sound technic (Peavey Triflex II, mics, cables, simple analog mixer).
