To know you was to know kindness. To eat your cooking was to taste love in every bite. Being raised by you is the greatest blessing I have ever known. Each day my heart breaks again and life will never be the same without you. This feeling will never subside, but I promise I will get stronger. You were the strongest and most beautiful person I have been blessed to know, and your influence on those around you was undeniable. A business owner, a leader, and a moral example that I will follow for the rest of my life. Your generosity and hospitality is something I can only wish to replicate. 2025 was a year of love, struggle, reflection, immense growth, and personal healing. I can’t help but find it ironically poetic how I have experienced both the worst and best moments of my life within such a short timespan. Traveling the country to see my favorite musician is something I will deeply cherish forever. I need to give a huge thank you to all my friends and every oddball I’ve met along the way, I truly wouldn’t be where I am or who I am without you ❤️

I’d like to say a few things I’ve learned from my people this year: If it’s not a hell yeah it’s a hell no. Love freely and often. Forgive yourself and those around you. Cause mayhem appropriately, but always maintain balance. Surround yourself with creative people. Constantly seek inspiration, even in unexpected places. Take the risk you’ve been scared to take. Lean towards spontaneity. Buy that festival ticket. Travel the country with your friends. And NEVER miss a Sunday set. Here’s to 2026, I’m more excited for the future now more than ever 🫶🏻 by @maxrowley7
