now that i have been in love with you for a year, i see the meaning in everything. you’ve handed me the opportunity to give again. seeing the true meaning of kindness. the skewed perception i once had, has been washed away with your light. my star, my beautiful cosmo that stretches across the night sky that i get to look at every night. seeing how bright you are once nightfall makes its way through. i know i say “i can’t wait for the day…” a lot. but i also can’t wait for the day i get to wake up again with you, to say hi again, to say i love you, to admire you again. every moment with you is just as important as the day i get on one knee and ask you to be the woman that takes my hand through life, that will be a parent with me, that will belt out songs with our children in the car as we drop them off for school, to feel the blistering hot sand upon our feet as we race each other knowing too well that one of us will pull something in our leg. to view each others love that will be passed down, breaking the cycles. there’s no such thing as an end with you my dear, my love will carry on even without this vessel. nothing can stop me from loving you. not even death. not even my last waking breath that i take before i cross over. the fear of death is quiet for i know that the welding of our hands will help us cross together. kahit sa kamatayan, lagi kitang mamahalin mahal ko.
