It’s been a great year of racing. So thankful for all the time spent with friends and experiences I had this season. After I got back from the last race in Europe, I struggled with the idea of continuing racing - it was a good season but I still didn’t achieve what I set out to results wise, and in a passion driven industry it’s hard to justify delaying life another year. I had plenty of opportunities to push an extra one percent, to be closer to the top, but I was uncomfortable with my setup and struggled mentally. Looking back I’m so grateful for all the patience and support I’ve received from sponsors as I couldn’t do it without them. From this point, I’m going to continue looking for more opportunities to race and if things line up, I will be all in and if they don’t, it’s just bikes! There’s plenty more to life than racing but I really do enjoy “the process”. by @maxsedlak27
