Pretty damn happy with this one. My plan was to just execute my own race and guess it worked out. Very very special place to have a race. Even managed to get some downhill KOM‘s challenging my inner MVdP. Thank you @challenge_sanremo for having me and congrats to everyone finishing this one!

It’s been a little quiet on here so time for an update. The last few weeks I went full throttle to get myself back into some decent shape after the crash. Last Saturday I wanted to put that work to the test at @challengevieuxboucau and see where I am at and what I need to work on for the last bit of the season.

Quite honestly I left with a lot more questionmarks that I would have liked. Obviously, my swim needs some work still, but some other areas I also struggled with. I got 9th by the way.

In considering tho I am just happy to be healthy and pain free on a starting line, that’s already a gift in itself. Now we go back to work and tweak a few things to make it better in a couple of weeks time.

Thank you to everyone that is supporting me on that journey. It means the world 🫶🏽

Obviously, this race was completely on the shadow of the WC in Kona and watching that race makes me work even harder. Really inspirational!

Success in triathlon isn’t built on race day—it’s built on the days when no one is watching.

Every early morning. Every tough session. Every moment you choose discipline over excuses.

Triathlon is more than swimming, cycling, and running. It’s about becoming stronger, one decision at a time.

Stay consistent. Trust the process. The results will follow.

What are you doing today that your future self will thank you for?

THE REBUILD // EP 002

New YouTube video dropping tomorrow. How did I manage the first 4 weeks post collarbone fracture? Why altitude training? What are the benefits for athletes? Will I make it back to a start line this year?

All those questions answered in the new episode of THE REBUILD - dropping tomorrow

An injury is always a chance to work on areas that sometimes fall a little bit short in the daily training. Right now I took that chance to work on some technical skills on the run, as well as working on some specific strength.

As boring as it might sound, but falling in love with the process, if that is towards a race, to simply to come back from an injury, is what it’s all about. Finding motivation in the little things!

PS: how good is this @renerosa_trikotmanufaktur combo?

Last few weeks have been a little bit of a whirlwind, but we’re slowly getting there.

Unfortunately, this means I will not be racing at 70.3 worlds in Nice. After the surgery I wanted to keep that door open as long as possible and just see how I progress. However, at this point it just doesn’t make any sense, I am not fit enough, nor can train at full capacity yet. But I am doing everything to make a starting line again this year. Not much happening on here right now, but be sure I am giving absolutely everything to come back better and stronger.

For now, I am happy to be back running and riding my bike outside again. Honestly, I just only then realized that this crash also took a mental toll. Learning how to confidently ride and trust the equipment is my current task.

I am super happy to have made the decision to still come to Livigno and fully focus on what’s important.

If you have not yet checked out my latest YT video, make sure to do so.

THE REBUILD – The ups & downs of sport.

Just one week after winning Ironman 70.3 Gdynia, my season came to an abrupt stop.

During a training ride at 45 km/h, my front tire blew out and I crashed. The diagnosis: collarbone fracture – a cycling classic.

Luckily, I didn’t suffer any further injuries and thanks to my amazing support team, was treated and operated immediately.

From now on, THE REBUILD will follow my journey back to training and, hopefully, back to racing.

The physical recovery is only one part of the process. Dealing with the setback mentally, finding a new perspective and staying focused will be just as important.

I’m excited to take you along for the journey. The road back starts now. 💪

Super happy to have @one.lifesciences alongside @onehartl by my side. Supporting the healing with the right micronutrients is already half of the game! 🙏🏻

Slowly but surely making progress in the rehab of my broken collarbone. I am back on the bike and hopefully can start running soon. Until then it’s all about getting some mobility and strength back.

It sounds super weird but until know I was never in doubt or mentally drained. Just following the progress and giving everything to come back stronger and better. It’s part of the game I guess!
