three months ago, mom signed us up for the conqueror’s great sniffari walk challenge. she’d been seeing their ads on social media forever and finally conceded that her fat butt needed the exercise (tbh what rly motivated her were the cute medals). our goal was to complete 42.2km in 10days but we usually only walked up to 3km daily. this meant that we had to do extra laps around the neighborhood or get on the walkpad to make up the remaining distance. guess what, we finished in 9days!

mom was so excited for the medals to arrive but unfortunately, someone at the conqueror mustve messed up during planning bec a week after we completed the challenge, we still havent received a notification re: our medals being shipped out. we had to follow up with customer service who told us that they ran out of medals😠. we then had to wait more than a month for them to arrive 😫 (other finishers got theirs within days of completing their target distance 😭)

the medals finally arrived last week and theyre rly cute! 🥰 (it’s a good thing theyre well made. otherwise, in mom’s eyes, the extra laps wouldve been for nought 😅)

anyway, i’m glad the walking obsession is over and i could go back to our regular walks. this senior doggie has much better things to do than taking forever to get shoes on just to walk under the hot sun and delay breakfast/dinner for a medal. for extra treats definitely, but a medal? no, thanks. signed, grumpy & underpaid in treats senior doggie

we were back at the beach and it was glorious! it was asean week so we left home at 4am-ish to get ahead of the planned road blocks in the city. to make the most out of dad’s 2x400km-drive, we went to the beach twice a day, everyday 🥰 except for the last day when our delicate paws had already been rubbed raw from days of playing in the sand.

Lord, can this pls be our life? not the raw paw pads, but fresh air, daily swims and leg day? that would be the life! 🙏 #beachdogs

this was our first solo #camping trip and the pawrents survived! many thanks to the convenient services offered by the campsite like tent dis/assembly, freshly cooked rice and table/chair rental. as for us pups, we enjoyed walking on bare paws, frolicking in shallow water and playing fetch-the-pawrents’-slippers. not our fault that they forgot to pack our toys 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️ #fetch #campingdogs taken in Serendah by @maxthecorgoink

mom wanted to recreate my childhood penang street art photos with the gremlin sisfur, so we braved the penang hot sun. this time we’re better equipped with booties and a stroller. my first time here the pawrents were noobs at pawrenthoold who didnt believe in dog strollers and outfits yet. then i grew up to be a v itchy boy with bad legs that needed hip surgery. suddenly they realized that strollers and shoes for dogs arent just for cutesies, theyre actually v helpful! now the little gremlin is benefitting from my misfortunes — she gets to be on the stroller bec she’s on her period, need to get her away from unwanted male dog attn 😅

shout out to our super dog-friendly hotel! what it lacked in space, the staff surely made up for in service. they even offered to plate up the pawrents’ take away ckt (which they liked so much, they had it for lunch twice in a row). dad would rate it 5 stars, but i think i’ll take away 1. i’d give it when they make a dog-friendly pool too 🙏😝 taken in Penang Georgetown by @maxthecorgoink

luna’s first ever camping trip. the one where mom lost our food to the local dogs (bec she got complacent and left the containers out on the camping tables) 🤦🏻‍♀️ mom almost thought of going back home but thank God for sending dad to the right place at the right time so that he could run into a friend outside of a 99 parking lot and who was able to share his dogs’ kibbles with us! #divineprovidence. other than the food mishap, the rest of the trip went smoothly. we went for a swim, had the dreaded bath, chilled on our chair. two playful campsite pups kept inviting luna to play but she kept turning them down. looks like she has outgrown her puppy phase and is turning out to be a grump like me 😅 by @maxthecorgoink
