Big 6/8 groove in the studio. Heavy, dirty drums and letting the feel carry the track. 🥁

Locked in a 6/8 groove with tight tones and a little room glue on top.
Big fan of how the snare bite and toms sit with the V-series setup.

Mic setup:
Snare — sE V7x
Kick — sE V Kick
Toms — sE V Toms
Overheads — sE8

Working on a post-punk tune today. Gushy snare, drony repetition, letting the part hypnotize instead of evolve.
The @seelectronics sE8 overheads have been living on this kit for a while now and they keep surprising me with how honest they feel. Open, focused, and easy to trust.
That new @istanbulagop XIST Ion crash sat right where it needed to. Texture without stealing attention 🥁

Tracking a cinematic groove in the studio. Open toms, big 4 on the snare, and letting the space do a lot of the emotional work. I’ve been using this sE mic setup in my room for a couple months now, and it’s really become part of how I hear the kit. Clear, musical, and consistent, especially when the part needs weight without getting crowded. 🎧

Driving the outro with steady quarter notes and letting the energy peak at the right moment. Love this kind of part. 🎧

📍 we went everywhere, man!

Wow, you never realize how far you’ve gone until you take a peek back to see. In the flurry of releasing our debut album we played almost 60 shows this year!! 🤯

There’s too many favourite moments to mention but Japan was a fantastic way to cap off the year. 🇯🇵

Huge thanks for sticking around and supporting our little band. We love you for being here and hope you have a wonderful holiday. ⭐️

See you at Wintersong in 2026!! ❄️

Much love, Gina, Devo & Max 💖

Really enjoyed locking into this one. Laid-back feel, slow build, and trying to capture the emotional art of the song. The room tone and the mics were doing exactly what I wanted here, with the @sEelectronics setup capturing the detail and weight of the kit in a really musical way.

In the studio getting a big 2000’s rock sound. Big fills, big tone, and that new Istanbul Agop XIST Raw Ride doing work.
Loving how this one cuts through the mix.

Live with @modeleofficial1 at The Mod Club in Toronto.
Opening up the outro section of “Into Your Eyes” with some big fills, looking for that soaring 80’s sound.
