I’d like to start off by Thanking the Coaches at Grandview for giving me the opportunity to peruse collegiate wrestling. I’d also like to thank my coaches who helped me get to this point and have given me so much opportunity through the sport. I’d like to thank my parents who supported me the entire way through everything. I’m beyond excited and ready to work, there’s only one goal. #championshiplifestyle #committed #collegewrestling taken in Grand View University by @maxwellazzaline

All for the Glory of my Hometown.

4 years ago this program took me in when I was a freshman. They believed in me and saw something in me I didn’t even see in myself at the time, they helped sculpt me into the man I am today. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities this program has given me, I’m thankful for all the coaches who helped develop me and worked with me day in and day out to help me try and become the best version of myself I could be. I’m thankful for every friend I’ve made along the way whether it is my fellow teammates in the tribe, my big game friends, AAU Friends or the opponents which I wrestled along the way.
Being apart of Assumption Wrestling has been the single greatest experience Ive ever had and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it for anything. The Team, The Culture, The Hard Work, is worth every single ounce of blood, sweat, and tears. Everyone in the tribe will always hold a special place in my heart.
I look forward to eventually giving back to the program which has been such a vocal point in developing me into who I am now.
In regards to this season, I knew after we got the results back for my injury I would be challenged. I decided I would compete until I couldn’t anymore, which is what I did. Even though I am unhappy with the results I am happy knowing I ended the season on my own terms without letting my enervating injuries dictate that for me, although they are no excuse. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my athletic career. I’m so grateful for all the great moments this season has produced and I wouldn’t have wanted to wrestle it with any other team. I’d like to especially thank coaches Sonny, Jobgen and Purdy for being there through it all. I know I’ll be back. Stronger, Faster and more eager than ever before to compete.

Thank you Assumption Wrestling
