“What You Get Away With” is out now. From initial writing sessions to revisions to demos to more revisions and so on, this has been the biggest, most important project I’ve ever worked on (sorry undergrad). These past two years have taught me more about music and guitar and relationships and life than anything else, and I’m so grateful to stand behind it - mistakes and successes alike. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished, regardless of what happens next. If you have the time, I ask that you give it a listen.

To those that made this possible:

Theo - it is an immense privilege to play alongside someone so technically proficient, across such a wide range of genres and styles. You constantly push me to improve my skills, expand my repertoire, and to learn about music outside of my instincts, whether you realize it or not. Thank you for being 100% Theo 100% of the time.

Mory - you are the most talented writer I’ve ever known. I don’t think there is anyone else in this world who would be capable of writing the kind of material that this band needs. You remind me that anything is possible when you are driven by love and belief. Thank you for sharing your art with us.

Sean - we have been writing songs together for over a decade now. We’ve released major works across 3 different bands, and I hope this is just the beginning. You have taught me so much more than how to write a good riff. You have taught me more than I can even express in words. Thank you for your compassion, your patience, your strengths and your weaknesses which you share so beautifully.

Pete, Adrian, and Andy - you are all such talented artists. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, for letting us live in your studio, and for helping us create such a badass record. It was an honor, and I hope to relive that experience soon.

Anael - you have stood behind me during some extremely tumultuous times. You have supported me and my art despite it all. I love you so much and am very excited to be living together after 3 wonderful years. Thank you for listening and believing and caring.

To all of those mentioned and many more: cheers! We did it! by @maxwellfolina
